Vacation

This Saturday is a week from vacation. I cant wait until I get to go in the sun and swim in the ocean. I want to go see the people we see every ( this will be the 5th year we have went to Turks and Caicos). I want to see to the new addition to the water par they have. I hear they add a slide or two.

Something that Bugs Me

The thing that really bothers me is when I am trying to work on something for school and a friend will come and get u off topic. Last week when I was working on a project a friend came up to me and starting bothering me and getting me off topic. I also hate it when a person comes up to you and have never talked to them and within a few seconds the think u are friends. During PE a girl will come up to me and start talking to me. After a little will call us friends and I know nothing about her.

Tie Dying

This past weekend my and a few friends in my neighborhood tie dyed. My friends and tie dyed after m cousins volleyball game. We had three colors that we had to share. The colors we used are blue, green, and pink. I tie dyed my brothers shirt first then me and all my friends tie dyed together. My didn't turn out as I hoped it would but I know what I did wrong. My aunt said we can try iot again this weekend.

KId Nation 6

Cooperation: The council choose a few people to help take out the trash. The trash at the town was piling up. The trash was starting to smell. The people that were choosen were the people that picked up the trash and moved it. The kids took the trash away from the town and buried.

Social Exchange: DK does a lot of work and makes sure everyone is doing there work. He kept everyone calm. When everyone got in a conflict, he would help solve the problem. The group has a conflict about a lot of things and DK keeps the town as one.

Coformity: When you go somewhere with no adults, people acted different. The kids on the show work together to build a town. The kids changed into adults with in a few minutes when arriving. The kids are getting homesick. The changing from playful kids to hardworking adults.

Kid Nation 7

Primary Deviance: Jared wanted to open to a shop. Another girl came up to him and said no u cant and just want to open the store just for the money. That made Jared every mad. He went up to the other and tipped it. When tipping the cart, Jared smashed the food and other goods.

Deviance: When someone doesn't follow the group like when Taylor refuses to work nothing gets done. The city cant get the work done with no one working. Everyone needs to work for the city can get rebuilt. Some of the people like Nathen are working harder because some people are getting lazy.

Social Sanctions: When working hard people are awarded, the award is a gold star. The gold star is a lot of money, $2,000. In this episode the gold star went to Nathen. The hard he was doing was doing more work then anyone else. He also had to del with Greg being mean to him.

KId Nation 5

Conflict: On the yellow team there were many conflict because Taylor refuses to work and sleeps in. When the yellow team is a cook, the town doesn't get much food. With the reelection there is a lot of conflict with of is going to win the election. People are wanting  different leaders. The conflicts were making the town split.

Out-Group: The yellow team is to team on the out skirts of the town. When Taylor upsets someone, the whole yellow team looks bad. Because Taylor mess treated the other teams, people voted her out. Yellow was lazy and didn't care
Primary Group: The group that holds the town together is green because they are kind to everyone and helps out the town a lot. The green cares for the feelings of others. when the kids want to lave the green comforts the kids. The green acts like parents.

Kid Nation 4

Status Set: The kids are in groups.  The four groups are blue, yellow, red, and green. The council are in the groups for they can keep track of all the people. The council are also trying to add religion. The kids are having a hard time with adding it because the kids practice different religions.
Social Interaction: Many people are very kind and helped each other out. When the kids feel home sick, the other kids help them feel better.
Role: The behavior of the yellow team is very lazy. They don't do  anything to help out the town. Taylor does nothing to help the town. She doesn't do dishes and doesn't cook much. The yellow team is acting like Taylor because she is the leader.

Poor President

I believe that the president is poor because maybe he does a bad job at keeping his country safe. I would think that if the president did a good job he would have moor money unless his country is poor. If the country is poor then he cant help but have less money then the other presidents. I would hope that the country is poor rather then the president just being bad at his job. I wouldn't want to live in country with poor leadership. It would seem as if nothing would get done.

My Weekend

On Thursday, I went to the South County Mall and got some vacation clothes. I got 4-5 new outfits. My brother got a lot of new clothes for school and vacation. On Friday, I babysat all day. My parents went to work, so I babysat my brother. Then in the  around 5pm we went to open gym at my cheer gym. After open gym, we went to Froyo, a frozen yogart place.

Kid Nation 3

Laws: The leaders are starting to say the town needs to go to bed at 9:30. The council enforced the rule because people were tired the next day because they were staying up late. Because the bed time I believe the kids will get have more energy.

Formal Sanction: When they have a show down,they will see the award they an get a award for finishing in the correct time they get a award. Also when they work hard during the week they can get a gold star. The gold star is worth a lot of money. So the work people do gets awarded.

Resocailiztion: When the kids went on Kids Nations, the kids had to learn how to get along with the other kids. The kids that start the fights like Greg does the younger kids don't understand the mean words. The council trys to stop the maddess. The council just cant seem to concrol him.

Kid Nations 2

Beliefs: When the council had a vote, people disagreed with killing the chickens. The animals lovers didn't want to kill the chickens. At the end to animal lovers agreed to kill them but a girl named Emily hated the idea. She wants to leave now. The other people that disagreed was ok when they got fresh meat to stay in good shape to help.

Values: I believe values because the kids all need the same things. Some things are water, food, and sleep. When the yellows don't clean the dishes that leaves less dishes to use to cook with leaving less food. If they would clean them there be more food the share.

Drives: The kids need food. when they killed the chicken they got that much stronger and healthier. They need their food and water. When the last few days come I bet food will be limited.

Kid Nation

Social Dynamics: The kids have changed a lot since they have left home. The kids have to eat less, get less bed rest, and get used to helping each other. The kids are starting to act like grown-ups. With kids working together they can get work done. On the show the kids have to grow up fast. The older kids have to act like parents to help the younger kids.
Power: The council had a lot of control of the groups when they divided into the four groups. They lost a little control when one person didn't again with another, but a few people stepped in and helped the council.
Class Conflict: People fought a lot over the food, dishes, and who got what. A lot of people fought over little things. That's when council the council lost control. When the people stepped in they gained control.

      Dear Mrs. DeBolt,

       I would like to tell you more about me. My favorite color is purple and favorite animal is Zebra. I also do cheerleading. The gym I go to is called Cheer Legendz. My top two favorite movies are Frozen and Catching Fire. I want to see Diverent ,but I am going to read the book first. My mom keeps telling me to read, because she really wants to see too.
       I also go on vacations every year at the end of May or the beginning of June. So every time a school ends I look forward to going to a beach. For the past Four years I have gone to the sae place because the oceans is crystal clear. once I was on a boat and I saw a sea turtle o the ocean floor. The water was about ten feet deep too. By now everyone that works there knows us and looks forward to us coming. I like the water park the most recently they added two more slides so I am looking forward to going there this year again and trying out the new slides.
       In technology I have a good time. It is one of the class I look forward to. I like to activities that we do. The typing web and test help a lot with my typing. I was very bad at it and now I know the keyboard a lot more.

Video games

I believe that video games that kids play do make them more violent. Video games make kids more violent because most video games include zombies or other things that you have to kill. I kow in minecraft you have to kill zombies, spiders, creepers, and skeletons. My brother and I play it often. When, we play it together, my brother gets into it.
